We are under constant stress, which causes a variety of health problems. Restorative yoga gives a vacation from that. It is a very relaxing, healing, and nurturing practice. For one hour, you are led through only a few poses in which you are fully supported by props. By slowing down for a short time, the body is able to heal by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. You will feel calmer, happier, and more centered by the close of class.

Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique which induces complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. You will be guided to a conscious state between sleep and wakefulness where contact with the subconscious and unconscious mind occur spontaneously. Yoga Nidra aids in healing of the central nervous system and improves memory, creativity and sleep.
During this class, you will lie on the floor being fully supported with props. You will be led through a series of guided relaxation, breathing exercises and visualizations.
